Patterned Tile is having a major moment in interior design. We've spotted it in everything from a mudroom floor, to a gorgeous bar and in a dreamy bathroom too. But liking it on pinterest and implementing it in your own home is a whole different beast. Fear not! We're getting the inside scoop on where to put it, how to incorporate all that pattern beautifully and killer sources from one of our favorite designers, Shea of Studio McGee. Pretty soon you'll be cement tiling with the best of them.

Favorite Spots for Cement Tile

Our favorite places to incorporate cement tiles are bathroom floors, kitchen floors and backsplashes. We really love to do a dramatic backsplash in the bathroom and run them floor to ceiling behind the mirror!

If You're Nervous About Pattern

If you're nervous about committing to pattern, try them in a powder bath! They don't require much square footage and small spaces can always benefit from a bold move.

That Lived in Look

Cement tiles are a softer material, so they wear over time. We think a lived in look is beautiful, but it's important to know before you commit!

The Best Color Combo

People tend to get tired of bright colors more quickly, so we love black/white and gray/white cement tiles for a more timeless look.
